Town
The Town is the largest faction — ordinary citizens and specialists working together to root out evil. Town members don't know each other's roles (with rare exceptions like Masons). They must rely on discussion, investigation, and deduction to identify threats.
Win Condition:
Eliminate all Mafia members, neutral killers, and the Cult Leader.
Town roles fall into categories: Investigative (Cop, Inquisitor, Spy, Watcher), Protective (Doctor, Bodyguard, Veteran), Power (Mayor, Vigilante, Warden), and Support (Escort, Mason, Decoy, Miller, Citizen).
Mafia
The Mafia is a team of criminals who know each other and coordinate kills each night. The Godfather directs the kill, the Mafioso carries it out, and support roles like the Framer, Blackmailer, and Consigliere help cover their tracks. During the day, Mafia members blend in and manipulate the town.
Win Condition:
Eliminate all Town members and other threats (neutral killers, Cult Leader).
Mafia roles include: Killing (Godfather, Mafioso), Deception (Framer, Disguiser, Infiltrator), Support (Blackmailer, Consigliere, Seducer, Kidnapper), and the secret Minion.
Neutral
Neutrals are lone wolves — they don't belong to any team. Each neutral role has its own unique win condition. Some are killers (Serial Killer, Werewolf) who want to be the last ones standing. Others have special objectives (Jester wants to get lynched, Executioner wants a specific target lynched) or just want to survive.
Win Condition:
Each neutral has a unique condition — be last standing, get lynched, survive, steal a role, etc.
Neutral roles include: Killers (Serial Killer, Werewolf, Thief), Benign (Survivor, Amnesiac, Politician), Evil (Witch, Executioner, Jester), and Special (Necromancer).
Cult
The Cult is led by the Cult Leader, who converts one player each night. Converted players lose their original role and become Cult Members. The cult grows silently — but if the Cult Leader dies, all cult members die with them (chain death). This makes protecting the leader critical.
Win Condition:
Eliminate all threats — Town, Mafia, and neutral killers — while the Cult Leader stays alive.
The Cult consists of the Cult Leader (converter, night-immune, appears innocent) and Cult Members (converted players who lost their original abilities).
